A Big Day for Emma

We had a big day with Emma today. First she had an appointment with her pediatrician to get checked out about the Bilirubin levels. The doctor said she was doing great, but we had to wait hours to get the results of the test. We finally heard this afternoon that the count was low enough to go off the Bilibed! For the last few days there was no holding Emma except for when she was feeding or being changed. That was hard on Mom and Dad.

Then she had her first bath and a hair wash! Such minor things, but such fun!

Amy and Rodger are adjusting to their new little darling! And loving every minute of it! They are also still trying to get settled in their new house. It is hard on Amy since she can't do much of anything. Rodger went back to work today. Grandma got to spend the day just doing stuff for Emma and Amy.

Emma is a darling and we are all loving every minute of her! Being a Grandma is great fun!
