The baby arrived! But not before a loooooonnngggg wait! Amy and Rodger were in the hospital over 30 hours!
The wait wasn't too bad Sunday afternoon, afterall, they had our company! We spent the hours watching the computer monitor that was monitoring the baby's heart and Amy's contractions.
And we kept waiting.................
Watching the monitor wasn't that much fun for these two--Emily and Kenneth. Amy and Rodger were bored and getting anxious for "the event" to take place. I was watching the computer monitor and talking to Amy and having a great time.
Amy was getting tired. And she wished she had eaten a better breakfast. Little did she know that she had about 10 more hours to go!!
Our little 'punkin' finally made her debut!She entered our family on Monday, January 26, 2009 at 2:05 p.m., weighing 7# 6 oz., and was 19.5 inches long. She has lots of beautiful brown hair. She is just beautiful!
